Qualifications:
All teachers and assistants are required to meet all the requirements of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as they will be used in staff/child ratios:
Signed non-conviction statement
Signed school policy agreement statement
Obtain medical clearance from a doctor on JFS form #1296
Submit three references from people that are not relatives
Verify education
Show No record on both B.C.I.I. and F.B.I. background checks
Preferred Candidates will have: Love for children
C.D.A. or Associates Degree or higher in related field
2 years of experience working with children for Lead Teacher position
Own method of transportation
Full time position hours- 8:00 to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
Cook/Bus Driver/Teacher's Assistant
Forest Park Christian Preschool is looking for a cook / teacher’s assistant for school agers to drive the preschool mini bus during the school year once in the morning, and in the afternoon. A CDL license is NOT required but candidate must have a clean driving record. This role in our school facilitates many functions. The qualified candidate will prepare lunch and afternoon snack and be responsible for the kitchen and food inventory. Also help, when needed, to supervise the children on non school days. Must be able to pass a background check. This position is Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm - this is a full time position.
